For many clubs, you will have an existing membership database. This might be a commercial administration program or simply a database system created in-house.

The problem then arises of keeping contact details up to date, which would have to be done in two places and require additional administrative load. With League Master, you can link to most databases to ensure that all details updated on your main system are reflected in the league printouts etc.

We could, of course, have created either a universal linking tool or have a list of the most popular administration programs and make linking as easy as possible.

Well, we did both!

If you are using an administration system that we have created native support for, then you can simply select it and the rest is done for you.

Alternatively, if you are using an industry standard database, such as FoxPro, dBase, Paradox, Access or any database for which ODBC drivers are available, then you can use the Database Connection Wizard to connect. It will also update from *.CSV files.

If you are worried about security, then don't be. League Master cannot edit data on your main system. It simply reads it and updates its own data.
