Creating Your First League

Creating your first league is very straight forward and fortunately, all the tools you need are already built in. However, it does require a little planning if you want the least amount of effort.

The process outlined below will manage this with ease.

1. Obtain your existing League Sheets
We assume that, like all other clubs, your current league is displayed on a board somewhere for your players to view and probably enter their match results on.

2. Enter your Members
Starting at the top box in your league, enter your players into the Members Book in exactly the same order as they appear on your current league sheet. This is the key to the easiest set up, but don't worry if you get some players out of order - we can correct things later.

3. Select New League
From the League menu, select New League. Enter the name and group details, click the Next button and then enter the rules for your league. Click the Next button again and you will be on the Selecting Players page. Make sure that you click on the column head for the Mem No column - this will sort it in Membership Number order.

Now you should see the reason for entering your players into the Members Book in league order. All you have to do is start at the top and enter the box numbers as you go. (Remember, this process temporarily ignores any divisions you may have set up).

4. Show Final Positions
Once all your players are entered, you now click on the Next button again, and you will see the order that should now match your existing league boxes.

If any of your players are in the wrong box, then click on the Back button and make your changes.

If any of your players are in the wrong position within a box, then use the Move button to bring up the Reorganise Box form.
