Quite apart from the facility to put your results and current
leagues on a web site, allowing your players to update their
own contact details is a huge saving in time and effort and
is quite easy to set up. |
|
There are two basic procedures that you need to go through to fully
utilise the system. The first is setting up the basic account for
uploading to the web site, as described below. However, if you wish
to allow players to edit their own contact details, you
will also need to provide user names and passwords.
|
1. Basic Account Details
In order to upload data to the web site, you will have been provided
with a password when you registered the program. Go into the Tools
menu, then Options and select Web Site Uploading. |
 |
Password: Enter the upload password in the
space provided.
|
|
2. Web Site Details
You must now set the main web site criteria. Also in Options, select
Web Site Details. |
 |
Display Name: Club name as you wish it to appear
on the web site.
User Password: Password required by members
to obtain access to the site. Users still require their own
unique user name and password to access their person contact
details. |
|
The Subscribed Leagues settings is 1 by default. Within your normal
annual subscription for League Master is included displaying of
one league on the web site. If you wish to display more, you will
need to contact League Master to arrange it. |
3. League Details
Having now set the basics, you will need to set the criteria for
your individual league or leagues that will be on the web site.
Having created a league, highlight it in the Current Leagues box
on the main desktop, right-click and select Properties. Click on
the LeagueWeb tab. |
 |
League Active: In order to include the league
in the upload packet, you must tick the 'Include this league
in LeagueWeb packet' and then give it the name that you wish
to appear on the web site.
Display Name: This will set the name of the
league as it will appear on the web site.
Periods Shown: This will set the number of
periods that will be uploaded. |
|
Using the above data, the web site would display the selection
page as below: |
 |
4. Upload
Apart from checking any other requirements, you are now ready to
go. Simply select LeagueWeb in the Current Leagues window, click
on the Upload LeagueWeb button and then click Run. |
